Pickleball was in the spotlight yesterday at Roland Garros and it was a pleasure to be at the heart of this event!
The traditional clay of Porte d'Auteil was hidden for 3 pickleball courts, in front of the Central Court.
After an introductory speech, our best French player Jocelyn Devilliers join the court for a first exhibition match with Amélie Mauresmo, former world #1, Gilles Moretton, President of the French Tennis Federation and Sophie Amiach, former top 60 worldwide. Some very good points!
We then had the honor of stepping onto these courts to play a few sets before giving way to other big tennis names like Émilie Loit, former world top 100, Caroline Dhenin, senior tennis world champion and Mansour Bahrami, still so facetious 😉
Finally, a real pleasure to meet the next generation of French pickleball, Arthur Lebreton, and his family.
