Under the Provençal sun ☀️
It was hot at the Aix Country Club of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Tennis League for the second edition of the French Pickleball Open, very hot indeed 🌡️ Exceptional weather conditions for a tournament that is just as exceptional! The FFT had pulled out all the stops for this second year with spaces dedicated to this occasion, a gigantic center court, and even the presence of the best French player on the American circuit Jay Devilliers
And so it was with these unprecedented conditions that we found the entire elite of French pickleball: nearly 340 players from all over France (and even a few foreigners) to claim the title of French champion. True to their positions, the Platel brothers won in the men's competition and the pair Anaïs Geslin / Clara Contis won gold in the women's draw 🥇
We would like to congratulate all the Parisian players who made the trip, with a special mention for Deborah who brought home the bronze medal in women's doubles +50 🥉 and for Mauricio who won the silver medal in mixed doubles +50 🥈
Deborah also lived up to her title as the first French international pickleball referee by refereeing a few matches and participating in training 👏🏻

The @fftennis had pulled out all the stops for this second year with dedicated spaces, a gigantic center court, and even the presence of the best French player on the American tour, @jaydevillierspickleball .
