It's common knowledge that our Belgian friends are ahead of the curve when it comes to our beloved sport! And they're showing it again with this November 11 tournament, in honor of the armistice.
Indeed, the Tournai Pickleball Club offered us a very original format with this day dedicated to mixed doubles. 48 players met at the Brunehall in Brunehaut to play a series of matches, changing partners between each of them.
A very friendly atmosphere and meticulous organization, as well as some very nice encounters of course.
Well done to the Paris team players, Denise, Leila, Jean-Noël and Guillaume, who were there that day for trying to stand up to the locals 😉
We will come back stronger in April for the annual Tournai Pickleball Tournament…
